Quarterly Newsletter — Q3 2026 (July–September 2026)
Message from the Chair
Er. Hare Krishna Ratha, SMIEEE — Advisor, IEEE Bhubaneswar Section & Chair, IEEE Computer Society Chapter (CH11163)
Dear Members, Volunteers, and IEEE Enthusiasts,
The third quarter of 2026 has been a landmark period for the IEEE Computer Society Chapter, Bhubaneswar Section. Building on the strong foundation of the first half of the year, Q3 witnessed the successful hosting of the prestigious IEEE Computer Society Region 10 Summer School, a rich calendar of technical talks spanning AI, cybersecurity, healthcare, and Earth observation, continued student engagement, and active association with international conferences.
Most notably, our Chapter had the honour of organising the 2026 IEEE CS R10 Summer School on “Deep Learning & Agentic AI” at KIIT Deemed to be University — the first time this flagship regional programme has been hosted in Odisha. Twenty-eight student members representing all seven Computer Society Student Branch Chapters participated in an intensive five-day learning journey.
I extend my sincere appreciation to every speaker, volunteer, faculty advisor, student leader, and Executive Committee member whose dedication made these achievements possible. Let us carry this momentum into the final quarter of 2026.
Warm regards, Hare Krishna Ratha
