The IEEE Computer Society Region 10 GAC annual 2025 R10 CS Summer School (R10CSSS) was hosted by IEEE CS Delhi Chapter and BVICAM CS Student Branch at Bharati Vidyapeeth’s Institute of Computer Applications and Management (BVICAM), New Delhi, India from 28 Jul – 01 Aug, 2025.
Prof. Hironori Washizaki, President IEEE Computer Society and Dr. Yuhong Liu, Chair, IEEE CS GAC attended (online mode) and officiated the event. Mohamed Rawidean Mohd Kassim,Regional Coordinator, IEEE CS Region 10, Prof. MN Hoda, Chair, IEEE Delhi Section, Dr. Rakhee Sharma, Advisor, IEEE CS Student Chapter, BVICAM, Dr. Parul Arora attended and delivered welcome address at the event.
A total of 36 undergraduate students from universities and institutions across India took part in the 2025 R10 CS Summer School. The week-long event focused on imparting hands-on training and conceptual understanding of data science, AI, machine learning, IoT, cybersecurity, and quantum computing.
More than 10 expert-led sessions across AI, data science, quantum computing, and cybersecurity were conducted during the week-long event. Furthermore, hands-on training in Python, Power BI, machine learning, and data visualization were given to the students. The students presented their mini projects on the last day and top 3 winners were given prizes for their achieveents.
The R10 CS GAC and the organizing team would like to thank BVICAM, IEEE Computer Society Delhi Chapter, BVICAM CS Student Branch, 2025 R10 CS Summer School Committee for hosting and organizing the R10 CS Summer School and all the speakers, tutors and mentors for sharing their invaluable knowledge.
